Engine 906 is a 1995 HME/Saulsbury with a 1500 gpm Hale fire pump, 1000 gallon booster tank and a Hale Foam Pro 3001 foam system, 50 gallon Class B foam tank and 10 gallon Class A foam tank. The engine is a Detroit Series 60, 470 hp with an Allison 5 speed "World" transmission. It is equipped with a TELMA electromagnetic driveline retarder.

The body and cab are both stainless steel construction, due to our climate and the extensive use of salt products on our roads during the winter months. This engine is equipped with automatic tire chains.

The engine runs as a Rescue-Pumper and is equipped with a hydraulic rescue tool, cribbing, water and rope rescue equipment as well as the standard fire fighting gear. It is equipped with 5 pre-connect lines, 4 200' 2" mattydale lines and 1 400' rear pre-connect. There is also a TFT Crossfire deck gun with the extend-a-gun for added versatility of the gun. The main supply bed is equipped with 1500' of 5" supply line.
