There is the standard compliment of "truck company" equipment on board as well as a 10KW Diesel generator, PPV ventilation fan, and some rope and water rescue items. The "basket" has several options including storage for a chain saw, 100’ of 2" fire hose, a 6’ 2" pre-connected line and lifting eyes and jib arms for rope rescue operations. Lighting is provided by four 500 watt telescopic lights on the body and two on the "basket" with two additional downward facing under the "basket".
The engine is a Detroit Series 60, 500 horsepower with the Allison World automatic 5 speed transmission, and a TELMA electromagnetic drive line auxiliary breaking device. The cab has seating for six fire fighters, and is set up with water can extinguishers and a "marriage" (irons) accessible by the rear seat riders for rapid availability at the emergency scene. This apparatus is also equipped with a rear-mounted video camera with a monitor mounted in the cab to assist the driver in backing.
